Biography

Patricia S. Bellac has had the honor and pleasure of representing  hundreds of employees, businesses, and labor organizations in business and employment law matters, for over 20 years.  The power to continue to help people acquire justice and re-acquire their dignity, amidst difficult legal experiences, has fueled her practice to continued expansion and provides a "newness" with each individual client experience. Bringing a balanced and pragmatic approach to her practice, Patricia takes pride in helping her clients understand their legal rights and obtain excellent results through legal representation. Patricia S. Bellac, Esq., is admitted to practice law in Colorado and New Jersey, and before the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Since 1999, Patricia Bellac has been the managing attorney and owner of PSB Law, a full-service law firm emphasizing employment, employee benefits, and business law. Patricia began her career in the field of employee benefits after graduating from McGill University. She then became an attorney, receiving her JD in the top 25% of her class at Fordham University in New York City. Her first attorney experience was in the litigation department of Carpenter, Bennett & Morrissey.

When not practicing law, Patricia enjoys the full breadth of the Colorado lifestyle, spending free time skiing or on hikes, bike rides, running or rock climbing, with her young adult children, husband and friends.   

Moving to Colorado, she then became an associate at Berenbaum, Weinshienk & Eason, P.C. Ms. Bellac has represented employees, employers, corporations, trade organizations, and employee benefit plans. She is active in the Boulder County Bar Association and served as its Labor and Employment Co-Chair, and she is also a member of the Colorado Plaintiff's Employment Lawyers' Association, the Colorado Bar Association and the local Chamber of Commerce.

She is a frequent lecturer and published author of various professional works, including  recent articles in the Boulder County Bar Association Newsletter  “Consequences of Independent Contractor Misclassification,” appearing on page 1, and “Changes To Colorado’s Anti-Discrimination Law –Evolution And Comparison To Federal Discrimination Protections,” in the BCBA” March 2015 newsletter. She publishes a blog on her website and Linked In.
